Weird

I was excited to recieve the matcha but when I got it and tried, it tasted very fishy and very much like seaweed. I appreciate the brightness of the matcha and that is what caused me to buy, but the taste was very disappointing.

Our matcha is sourced straight from Uji, where high-quality ceremonial-grade matcha naturally has an umami taste—some describe it as vegetal due to its rich amino acid content (especially L-theanine). That said, we know taste is personal, and we’re sorry it didn’t hit the mark for you!
