On receiving it I thought what a well made little device, but actually it takes a long time to get the matcha powder through the sieve and each time I have ended up using a finger to 'rub' it through!
Easier to rub it through a fine sieve with a teaspoon.
Hi Joanna, thanks so much for your feedback!
Stoked to hear you think it's a well-made little device. Sifting matcha can take a bit of technique, and we’ve found that tilting the bowl slightly while sifting helps the powder disperse evenly across the sieve, making the process a little smoother. And yep, even when sifting flour, sometimes you need to give those clumps a little encouragement—Nomu’s super fine texture means it can naturally clump up. A gentle nudge (whether with a teaspoon or finger) is totally normal!
Appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, and as always thanks for your support in Nomu.
